ATLANTA BRAVES STAR MATT JOYCE VISITS TUPPER LAKE

Tupper Lake, NY – Atlanta Braves outfielder Matt Joyce visited Tupper Lake at one of the coldest times of the year as two of Tupper Lake Riverpigs owners begin planning for the 2020 inaugural season of professional baseball in the Empire League Baseball (ELB).

The Riverpigs owners will visited to discuss planning of Municipal Park and how it can be brought to the Empire League standard of play. The two also visited restaurants around town seeing the local community.

Joyce said “I love this place, this is a perfect place for minor league baseball. I remember playing minor league ball and this brings back so many good memories and reminds me of how event though its a grind, its very worth it.”

The Riverpigs will be revealing their logo soon along with the 2020 Schedule.
